Here we are, the last day of 2016. And what a BEAR this year has been.

I just made a list of things that I liked and disliked about 2016. Then I created a list of hopes and goals for 2017. As with all things in life, some will get done and some will not – but that shouldn’t stop us from hoping and reaching for things we want.

Think about how far you’ve come this year. How far you can go next year. That’s where the magic is.

What are you New Year’s resolutions?

For those who haven’t seen this video, which has gone viral in the last few days, you’re in for a treat.

WOW.

This 10-year-old girl has autism, ADHD, and could barely speak up in class a few years ago. Now she’s singing Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” solo at her school’s concert. The school is in Ireland and is for special needs kids.

The performance is fantastic WITHOUT knowing that bit of info, but knowing it…Wow. Just…wow.

Hello everyone and hope this time of year finds everyone doing well and surviving the holiday mayhem.

Many of you know I LOVE the Irish Rock Band, The Dropkick Murphys. And while Amazing Grace live on stage is one rocking fantastic rendition of the old hymn, this latest Christmas video is better. It’s hilarious, and it begs the question – And you thought your family was weird?

There’s now a book trailer for NO GRITS NO GLORY, the first book in the Southern Ghosts Series!
