I was honored to meet Condace Pressley from WSB-TV at a charity luncheon months ago, and last Monday she had me into the studio to pre-record a 20 minute chat about all things books and author-inspiring!

That’s the rumor. I hope it’s not true, because if there’s one thing we could always count on…it was Kermit and Piggy.
Though I’m partial to Fozzy Bear and Gonzo myself. They just seem to have more personality and cuteness, though I can’t pinpoint a reason why.
I’ve seen every Muppet movie made. I think the recent “Muppets” one with Jason Segal and Amy Adams was my favorite. Anyone else have a favorite Muppet or movie?
Hi all,
Nope, I haven’t been blogging as much as I’ve hoped to. Must.Get.In.Better.Habit.
Anyway, book news:
- TICKET TO DIE (Southern Ghosts #2) releases next week on June 10th and can be pre-ordered now. If you like the “feel” of a real paperback, you can actually get the paperback now since I had to put the paperbacks on sale in order to get some advance copies. So those of you who prefer real books to ebooks, you get to order the item sooner! Here is the link: https://www.createspace.com/5526161
- Southern Ghosts Book #3 (KREWE OF SOULS) will take place in New Orleans and St. Francisville, Louisiana, and will have a carnival/Mardi Gras theme. I am looking at a release date of October 15, 2015. The cover is done and I will be posting it shortly :)
- Cristos’s book in the Elemental Clan Series will eventually be forthcoming…it’s on the list :)
- I will be at a conference this summer where I’ll meet up with someone to discuss audio books. We’ll see about getting a few books into audio format!
Happy summer and enjoy!
How many people watched last night’s 40th anniversary of SNL? I watched part of it and really enjoyed the old skits from the late 70s. The main SNL team I remember growing up on: Jim Belushi, Dan Akroyd, Steve Martin, Jane Curtin, Gilda Radner and more. But even though the “oldies but goodies” are no longer the regulars, it is amazing the show has lasted 40 years. Not everything has the bragging rights to say that in today’s culture.
While I admittedly went to sleep before the special was over, I did miss seeing my all-time favorite skit. I don’t know if they aired it after I went to sleep, but I did find a video of it online:
Before there was Sharknado, there was LAND SHARK on SNL:
Hilarious and it always makes me smile :)
Hi all,
NO GRITS NO GLORY ran in an advertisement over the weekend and the numbers put it at #1 in the Haunted Houses category, #8 in Ghosts category, and #53 in suspense category!
Many thanks! Hope you’re having a good Monday in prep for Halloween!
