Hi all, For those who have traveled to New Orleans (and even those who haven’t), do you ever wonder what movies portray the city accurately and those that don’t? For my listing, check out the guest blog today, where I list some of my faves and dislikes. The nice Casey Ryan from Twitter is hosting my article: Read guest blog here.
Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Easter weekend :))))
This has been a productive and great weekend for me. I’ve been on a #writing retreat, the kind where you hole up with other writers and you crash-write all weekend long. Of course, there are breaks in the evening, etc., but otherwise, the focus is WRITING.
Happy to report that I did 10,160 words = that’s approximately 40 pages, in one weekend. This is a great way to jump start that creativity or tackle that mid-book-slump hurdle.
Hope everyone has a great weekend and look for more posts soon!
Well, the self-pub journey is a mysterious one. The most important lesson I have learned in the last 2 days is: don’t ever try to transfer a domain from one account to another without first pointing the name servers to the new place. As a result, by not doing this in the right order, my “real” domain URL website is down. For a few more days. So hence the temporary URL. Anyway, the big news is – I am planning to have Book One of the Elemental Series available online FEB 1st! The cover is below! Stay tuned for more information and updates. And I’ll share some life lessons along the way, because I’m learning them too :) Digital Design done by Taryn Knight | Leafbreeze Creations
A fellow writer on Twitter contacted me about a week ago, wanting to do a Q&A with me and my writing process. I was (of course) honored, and now the questions/answers have been compiled and published to his blog.
The link is here, and the Q&A covers such things as how to survive when your hard drive crashes, what works for your process, etc.
Check it out!
